Nature and tree lovers

This tree might look broken on the outside, but beneath the surface holds a strong foundation no one can break, a foundation built in silence.

what is a soul'S purpose?

When the merging of your human self and your soul happens, that is when you meet your purpose. It’s not a lightbulb moment because it does not occur through the ego mind, but it’s an inner knowing in your heart that will keep tugging on you. Your purpose will not need external validations, as you will be confident that the right people support it. The process will look different than the others because it is meant to forge a new pathway. Most of all, a soul’s purpose is not harmful to the well-being of humanity; it is here to stay and shift the world positively. It cannot be duplicated as its essence lies within you, like an important piece of art — soul’s blueprint.

To be one with your soul, you must allow for the layers of illusions to melt away and heal any self-limiting beliefs placed upon you as a child; it is not easy, and unfortunately, there is no shortcut. You must allow the deconstruction of the false self to occur, and then rebuild from the ashes to prepare you for what’s to come, so you will have the strength and resilience needed when jumping into the unknown.

A soul’s purpose transcends time, space, and distance. It’s a pathway that's nonlinear and often confusing because the steps are fed to you through your intuition. It will require a great amount of surrender and trust. Some missions take longer, some are larger than others, and others are as simple as learning how to love. Whatever that purpose is, be grateful when you find it, because it means you've found yourself, the true self you’ve searched for all these years.

a mission to reawaken our children

As a child growing up in the Philippines in the early 80s, I experienced the freedom of playing outside from morning until night almost daily. We lived in a small compound where we shared a backyard with our relatives. We would play anything we could dream of, from being superheroes to playing house to pretending to be soldiers with our cousins. Someone would take the leadership role, assign tasks to others, and then we’d play them out. We did not have much when it came to the material realm, so we improvised and created our own props. We were powerful decision-makers and creators in our own right.

At the time, I was not aware of its positive impact on my mental health, and neither were my parents; allowing us to play was their way of giving themselves a break from parenthood. However, as I went through my adulthood, moving from one place to another, experiencing many trials and tribulations in my spiritual journey, I realized that those moments I freely spent playing outside contributed to the success of my soul’s growth and expansion. To this day, I still find solace in nature as I continue in my never-ending journey.

The truth is we were all born with inner wounds inherited from past generations, and sadly, those wounds can multiply depending upon the family we are born into and the people our unconscious minds choose to be with as we get older, not to mention the societal standards we mold ourselves into. The inability to recognize these growing negative patterns within us can be detrimental to a child’s well-being. We unknowingly transfer these underlying energies to our children, which are easily absorbed into their subconscious mind and then manifest into their reality. Over time, this can become burdensome to their mental health, potentially creating illusions of fear, anxiety, and self-doubt that can be carried through their adulthood.

As a spiritually evolved woman and a mother, I witness so many aspects in a child’s modern life that prevent them from fully living in the present moment. They are constantly bombarded by tasks and responsibilities at a very young age, not having the freedom and space to allow them to listen to their inner guidance, thus forgetting who they truly are on the inside. Children are naturally intuitive and empathic creatures. Their intuition is their guide that lets them know if they are safe, and their empathy allows them to be open-hearted and sensitive to others. It pains me to see these gifts being tarnished by the daily environment chosen for them.

Before I became one with my soul, I went through the ringer of peeling off layers and layers of illusions I was programmed to believe in by the people close to me and society. Suffice it to say, I did not take the shortcut. Ever since I was little, there was always a longing within me to be somewhere or something, “Inconsiloble longing,” as C.S. Lewis would put it, that I could never fully grasp in the physical world until now. By allowing myself to be awakened to my truth, a purpose was born, and that divine purpose is to heal children by combining my love for design and nature. Nature and art are powerful at reconnecting us to our inner truth; they are known to heal and calm our nervous system. I want to help reawaken children to their natural state of mind through the creation of the Little Cotswold, designed to nurture their mind, body, and soul, reconnecting them to their truest, most authentic, happiest selves, and restoring the special light they carry within as God intended.

Children and nature

i chose healing so i can heal them

My children’s father carries the energy of a narcissist that is unbeknownst to them. I was married to him for 13 years before I was enlightened to his true identity. Each time they share space with him, they sadly risk exposure to manipulation, deceit, and a lack of authentic affection. Although he may show care externally and buy them material things, there is no substance behind his actions. In this kind of dynamic, they often use children as leverage, and self-awareness is not a priority for them. I, on the other hand, chose to rise above his past influences and to forgive myself. I took accountability for my actions and healed because I am their only hope for receiving true, unconditional love. I needed to heal so I can heal them each time they are exposed to the negative energy that he embodies.

LET THEM SHINE

Children do not need material things; while those things are nice, what they truly need is to be heard as if they matter, because they do matter in this world. Their inner child needs to be nurtured for as long as possible so that they can remain true to themselves. Let’s not take away that authenticity from them because of our own unconsciousness. It is their birthright to live authentically, and the same holds for all of us.
