It is not a style, but an inner condition: every work is a living presence, a necessary act, a poetic architecture that inhabits space and transforms it. In Matericismo, matter is alive. Every surface, every mark, every imperfection has a voice. Material art is not designed — it happens. It is a spontaneous gesture, not planned, that comes from within — before aesthetics, before function, it is an expressive need. Each piece is unique, unrepeatable, because each gesture is. It is not replicated or multiplied. It is embodied memory, not an object. An echo, not a product. A testimony, not a decoration. The artist of Matericismo works alone. They do not delegate. Because whoever delegates the making, delegates the meaning too. They follow the principle of beauty as a personal, subjective choice. They follow the rule of truth — always, everywhere, without compromise —because truth cannot be explained: it must be felt. Matericismo speaks to you — you must listen. The universe works in mysterious ways; souls find one another lifetimes after lifetimes, and when they do, there is a secret language spoken between them—one that is familiar and gentle. Francesco embodies a soul that is kind, creative, and poetic, which truly is an understatement. Our dialogues prove this to be right, as my human self at times has difficulty keeping up with his poetic expressions. I feel very fortunate to be a Witness to his work “Matericismo” — an artistic movement, and a process I resonate with deeply; it is quiet, accompanied by an outcome so bold and powerful. His works are life-altering, stirring emotions within, transcending time and space.
